Don't Worry, Be Happy

I think this video is very fitting for the current climate amongst HP fans. People need to chill out, and not make things so personally. I dare you to watch this, and not hum along to it : p

Is Marty Scorsese Taking On Frank Sinatra?

From Cinematical

"It looks like Frank Sinatra's youngest daughter and film producer, Tina Sinatra, has let the cat out of the bag. While talking with Sun Media recently, she discussed a new biopic on the way, from Universal, that would focus on dear old Rat Pack Dad. She started by cryptically saying that the man who would take on the film was "the most prominent Italian-American filmmaker" in Hollywood. First, they guessed Coppola, and then Martin Scorsese. Later, she confirmed that it was, indeed, Marty.

But according to Sinatra, this won't be a big gangster picture. The movie will show him innocent of true involvement with the Mafia: "I don't want him to be driving the getaway car. That would not be fair. But I trust him (Scorsese) implicitly." It seems that Scorsese is in "a reflective period and is willing to present the truth about her father." From the way Sinatra is talking about Marty's involvement, it sounds like he is in final negotiations, but hasn't yet signed.

Should this all get squared away and signed, it will be at least the sixth celebrity name added to Scorsese's roster in the last 4-5 years. There was Bob Dylan in 2005, then the Rolling Stones with Shine a Light, plus the upcoming George Harrison and Bob Marley docs, and The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt.

But what say you? Are you ready for Scorsese to take on Sinatra?"

To be honest, yes I am ready. I think Scorsese could add his touch to it. Though this seems to be driven by Sinatra's daughter, and you know she won't want any of the negative bits from Sinatra's life in the film. She be wanting it to be a Saint picture.

The Highs and Lows of Being A Football Fan

I tell you, it's not easy being a football fan! No, we have to deal crap moments when our teams for some strange reason, start being gash. But we do get those moments when our teams destroy all opposition, and win something come the end of this season.

Now I've experienced both the crap and great this season. My Edinburgh club Hearts, have been the crap this season. Played some gash football this season. I bloody hope they get rid of Stevie Frail, and get a decent manager for next season. Sorry Stevie, you were great when you were a player for us, but, you just can't cut it as manager. Here's your P45 and we wish you all the best in your future employment.

My England team Manchester United have been on the other end of the football spectrum. They've actually played some of the most beautiful football this season. Just need to look at the superior goal difference from Chelski. This weekend we beat Wigan 2-0 to win the Premiership, and we're going to Moscow to play for the Champions League title. Come on Reds, win the double!!! :)

My Copy of The Shining Is In The Freezer

"Rachel: Hmm. (she opens the freezer) Umm, why do you have a copy of The Shining in your freezer?

Joey: Oh, I was reading it last night, and I got scared, so.

Rachel: But ah, you’re safe from it if it’s in the freezer?

Joey: Well, safer. Y'know, I mean I never start reading The Shining, without making sure we’ve got plenty of room in the freezer, y'know.

Rachel: How often do you read it?

Joey: Haven’t you ever read the same book over and over again?

Rachel: Well, umm, I guess I read Little Women more than once. But I mean that’s a classic, what’s so great about The Shining?

Joey: The question should be Rach, what is not so great about The Shining. Okay? And the answer would be: nothing. All right? This is like the scariest book ever. I bet it’s way better than that classic of yours."

This reminds me, I got to get my copy out of the freezer, and finally finish it :p

Top 5....

I've been inspired by Nick Hornby's High Fidelity. So here's my 'Top 5 Coolest Musicians' -

1. 'Keef' Richards - The man can walk out on stage, hit the first notes of 'Street Fighting Man' and thousand of people are in the palm of his hand.

2. Bob Marley - That man was a musical Prophet. Enough said!!

3. Paul Weller - The man can make playing the guitar cool. He is every bit of "The Modfather"

4. Bruce Springsteen - He can hold the spotlight with ease.

5. Jimi Hendrix - Quite possible the greatest man to play the guitar. Unfortunately the good die young.
